Accounts Receivable Specialist

?? Compensation: $25 - $33 per hour (DOE)

Overview:
Ledgent Finance & Accounting is partnering with a dynamic organization in Portland seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of AR processes.

Responsibilities:

• Process and apply customer payments accurately and timely
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding invoices
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies
• Prepare and distribute AR reports for management review
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding billing and payment issues
• Support month-end close activities related to AR

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting support
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Team-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
